The next General Election has been officially scheduled for January 15, 2025. This election will determine all seats in the House of Commons. Parliament is also considering whether to expand the number of seats from 5 to 7.
Notably, this will be the first General Election to include the position of Chancellor. While the current Chancellor holds the role, they have announced they will not seek re-election.
Registration for all positions is now open! Current members of the House of Commons must register for re-election. The Chancellor position is also open for candidates. Links for registration, including forming new political parties, are provided below.
All registrations will close on January 1, 2025.
